The Global NASH Registry™ and the Global Liver Registry™ are multinational, collaborative initiatives led by members of the Global NASH Council (GNC) and the Global Liver Council (GLC). These registries were established to systematically collect high-quality real-world clinical, laboratory, and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) data from patients with metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH), hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), hepatitis D virus (HDV), primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), and alcohol-associated liver disease (ALD) across diverse geographic regions.
Patient enrollment into the registries occurs following informed consent, with data entered through a secure, cloud-based platform into a centralized, encrypted database managed by COR-LD. All registry data are fully de-identified and compliant with HIPAA and applicable international data protection regulations.
The registries currently include participating sites across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America and Australia, with expansion underway in Africa. The overarching goal of these initiatives is to generate robust real-world evidence on clinical outcomes and patient-reported experiences in the most common liver diseases worldwide, enabling comparisons across regions and enhancing understanding of both shared and region-specific disease characteristics.
